  1. Thanks for the quotes very inspiring, but what with a man of 66 years today ( 18/07/2020 ) gain from them, retired from active service and nothing in particular to engage one self, other than sitting at home, anyway thanks I love reading.

    1. Hello Mr. MacDonald,
First off, we would like to wish you a happy birthday and many more years ahead. We are glad you left us this comment.
While we understand your concerns about being retired and turning 66 today, we do not believe you should consider it the end of anything meaningful in life. There is so much you still have to forward to, especially considering that you may have more time on your hands now.
One excellent example of this was Nelson Mandela. As i’m sure you know, he spent 27 years of his life in prison. He probably thought his life was wasted and over. However, he was released and went on to be President of South Africa, lead the nation through a process of healing from Apartheid and became a world leader. Interestingly, his funeral was attended by several VIP’s including four US Presidents. All this for a one time prisoner.
Our point here is that there is still so much you can do. We also encourage you to read our post on Ten Inspiring Quotes by Nelson Mandela here.
Once again have a Happy Birthday and we hope to see more of your comments in the future.
